College and Career Ministry

Hey College Students!
My wife Lindsey and I are leading the college ministry at Providence, and I wanted to let you know about some summer fun as well as a conference we are going to in January.
1) College Student Summer K-Group
Ever wondered what Heaven is like, or how living for Heaven changes your life on earth?  We will go through a study about Heaven, based on Randy Alcorn's book.  We will meet at our house on Monday nights from 6:45-8:30pm for dessert, fellowship, and discussion.  If you would like to purchase a study guide, please let me know.  They are $5.  First meeting is Monday, June 4.  Call the church office for my address. This may be a topic that interests them.
2) College Sunday School Class
Ever wondered what the book of Nahum is about?  Me too!  Let's find out together as we study all of the Minor Prophets of the Old Testament all summer at Sunday School.  First class starts at 9am on Sunday, June 3.
3) Summer Kickoff Party
Party at our house on Saturday, June 2!  We will have dinner, and play games outside and inside.  Invite friends!  Party starts at 6pm.
4) Passion 2019
Do you desire to grow closer to Jesus and to know how you can live passionately for Him?  Join us as we go to a great conference called Passion.  There will be tens of thousands of college students from around the world attending to hear great messages from speakers like John Piper, enjoy powerful worship led by artists like Chris Tomlin and David Crowder, and learn about amazing opportunities to serve in missions.  You won't want to miss this!
Registration cost is $150, and that price increases in a few weeks.  Go ahead and sign up at the website below.  We are going to the Atlanta-Phillips Arena location (be sure to pick that one).  The dates are January 2-4, 2019.  Total cost for attending will be around $300/person (including registration).  If you need scholarship assistance, please email me and let me know.

In Sunday School this week, we will have the opportunity to register.  Let me know if you sign up!
In Hope,
