Providence Baptist Church Ministry Teams
If you are a current PBC member and you are interested in serving here at the church, please take a look at the list of ministry teams we have here at PBC. Once you find an area of service in which you would like to participate, click on the link at the bottom of the page and fill out the electronic form. A ministry coordinator will contact you and connect you with that ministry team's leader.
Building Ministry Team
Responsible for maintaining the church buildings/facilities.
Children’s Sunday School
Responsible for establishing guidelines and choosing curriculum for the children’s Sunday school classes.
Directory Ministry Team
Responsible for assembling the directory for the Congregation. It normally operates every five years.
Facilities Ministry Team
Responsible for coordinating the use of church facilities, including approval of requests to use the facilities by church members.
Fellowship Ministry Team
Responsible for organizing and promoting fellowship gatherings within the church body.
Grounds Ministry Team
Responsible for maintaining the church grounds including lawncare and landscaping contracting and oversight.
History Ministry Team
Responsible for recording and archiving the activities related to Providence Baptist Church.
Women’s Ministry Team
Responsible for overseeing the various ministry needs of women. It includes activities such as women’s bible studies, book studies, discipleship, fellowships, retreats, showers, prayer, encouragement and more.
Meals Ministry Team
Responsible for organizing meals for people in distress (such as hospitalization, bereavements, etc.)
Men’s Ministry Team
Responsible for coordinating the development of men as disciple makers and leaders through activities that develop opportunities to create fellowship among the men of Providence through service.
Missions Ministry Team
Responsible for coordinating the mission work and overseeing the missions’ budget of Providence Baptist Church. ‘Missions’ is defined as reaching unengaged people groups.
VBS Ministry Team
Responsible for organizing the children’s summer vacation Bible school.
Worship Ministry Team
Responsible for establishing a biblical philosophy of worship. It oversees the implementation of all the elements of our worship service under the direction of the elders. Therefore, there are a series of sub-teams that operate within this team. This includes communion and baptism, security, weddings, ushers, nursery care, and A/V.
