Don’t let these two important events pass by you!

We have two important events coming up in the life of our church. The first is our annual missions banquet. Providence has the privilege to sponsor two domestic church planters and four international missionary families. We will hear from them this Sunday night, 5:00 PM, on December 2 at the fellowship hall of Capshaw Baptist Church. In addition to this, we will kick off our Lottie Moon Christmas offering. Olivia Watson will be our special speaker for the evening. She will give testimony about her six month trip to the Pacific Rim. Reservations are free but required. There will also be childcare for children second grade and younger. Come hear how God is using Providence around the world.

Also, our annual business meeting is December 5 at 6:30 at the church. We have 20 different motions that will be presented at that meeting. They can be found under the ‘Important Document’ tab of the website. The 2019 annual budget will available this Sunday.  Please read over them carefully. I have found that most issues that people have with a particular motion can be resolved prior to a churchwide meeting if they would inquire from the ministry team presenting the motion.  Feel free to contact those leaders. Our church is growing and we need to make sure we are providing good stewardship over our resources. I hope to see you at both events!
