April Covid Announcement

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

It was beautiful to gather as a body in order to worship our risen Savior this past Sunday. We wanted to provide you with concise information on your options with how we will be moving forward beginning this week as the governor has lifted the ‘Safer at Home’ order in Alabama.

First, our COVID protocols will continue to be in observance ONLY at our 8:00 AM worship service. In that service, we will still sit family units 6 feet apart. Should you choose to attend that service, please be conscious of those attending who are COVID sensitive and maintain your distances. There will be NO restrictions in the 10:30 AM service. Masks will continue to be at your discretion.

Second, we will continue to have two Adult Sunday School classes that will maintain social distancing for the full Sunday School quarter. Youth and College students may all attend these classes if they would like to continue observing our prior COVID protocols. Again, please be conscientious of those in attendance. The rest of our classes will have no restrictions.

Once again, we would remind you that our first service was only intended to be temporary. It is our desire to have the whole body gathered together at a single service in the near future. Beginning April 5, 2021, all Alabama residents over the age of 16 are now eligible for the vaccine. We hope to return to normal conditions sometime in the summer.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to communicate to the staff and elders. Thank you for your patience and endurance during this difficult season.
